The shaving machine is used for shaving leathers of sided cowhides, calfskins and grasser skins and of untrimmed splits. We produce shaving machines in working width 1200 mm, 1500 mm a 1800 mm.

Description
Above all the leathers from the cattle-hides in sides, as well as from the calfskins, broutards and non-trimmed split leathers can be shaved on this machine. The machine enables also shaving of whole leathers in two, or more stripes.
- The design concept of the machine enables its universal employment.
- The rigid design of the machine frame with solid diagonals and a firm seating of the bladed cylinder on the side parts are basis of a precise operation of the machine.
- A dynamically balanced bladed cylinder, placed in the antifriction bearings, can be dismanteled easily. (A complete bladed cylinder can be used at any machine 070017 P1 without modifications).
- A semi-automatic grinding with a fine adjustable size of the abrasive disk feed to the bladed cylinder. The sense of the grinding disk rotation is variable by means of a rotary switch.
- During the shaving operation the abrasive disk is separated automatically from the bladed cylinder, and the grinding is interrupted. The speed of the leather feed into the machine can be regulated step-by-step until 0,42 m/s.
- A reverse run of the laying roller enables a withdrawal of a leather.
- A shaving thickness is set by means of an electric motor either on a step-by-step basis, or in short pre-selected sections.
- There is a possibility of following the changes of the working gap on a numerical indicator.
- The laying roller is set in a uniform bevel, or obliquely to the bladed cylinder.
- The drawing aside equipment prevents leathers from clinging to the bladed cylinder. Its position with regard to the bladed cylinder is set automatically during the machine operation.
